At One Pound, we believe cake is more than just dessert, it’s an expression of care, connection, and everyday joy.

Our journey began with a love for artful cakes, rooted in the Korean way of sharing sweetness as an expression of care. What once was a small studio making custom cakes has grown into a Toronto café where everyday desserts meet thoughtful details.

We bake with simple, fresh ingredients and a philosophy of “pleasantly sweet”, gentle in taste, memorable in feeling. Every product is made with the intention of adding a soft moment of joy to your day, whether it’s a celebration with loved ones or a quiet treat for yourself.

Inspired by well-being, we’re also exploring ways to make our desserts lighter and easier to enjoy for everyone, creating cookies, cakes, and slices that are kind to both the palate and digestion.

As we grow, our mission is to build a community café that spreads warmth and joy, while also giving back locally and beyond.
